Just okay

This book was recommended if you are a fan of My Liege of Dark Haven. I don't understand why. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. I didn't care about the characters and only finished it to see where the connection to My Liege of Dark Haven was. I never found it. Since I only paid $0.99 for it, I can't really complain, but I feel like the story wasn't over. While the writing wasn't bad, I don't have any plans to read any more of this author's books.
