About the Author
Sandra Marton, a best-selling American author, wrote her first novel when she was seven. It was a romance, which probably says a lot about fate and the mysterious paths that sometimes lead us through life. By the time she was ten, she'd read Gone With The Wind even though that famous scene where Rhett carries Scarlett up the stairs puzzled the heck out of her. / Sandra loved school, hated gym, and graduated high school at 15 ½. More important, she fell head over heels in love that same year and finally figured out what that scene in Gone With The Wind was all about. / At university, Sandra studied Creative Writing. She also studied to be an elementary school teacher because everyone knew you couldn't possibly earn your living as a writer. Life got very busy. Sandra married the boy she'd met at 15 ½, began teaching, became a mom, stopped teaching, took in every stray cat and dog she found and eventually ran for public office and won, but she never forgot she had once dreamed of being a writer. In what little spare time she had, she wrote poems and short stories. The poems were dark and murky. The short stories were dark but not quite as murky. She even sold some of them but she knew she hadn't yet found the kind of stories she really wanted to write. / And then, one day, she thought, I wonder if I could write a romance novel / So she wrote one and sent it into the world where it was rejected in some places and given encouragement in others until her husband, that boy she'd fallen crazy in love with so many years before, took matters into his own hands and mailed her book to Harlequin Presents. / Seventy-five plus books later, he still loves to remind her of that.

A favorite for Sheikh's lovers!
By Yadel C
The sparks are in from the beginning. First you have a professional and succesful heroine, Megan; who encounters a gender discrimination at her work place. Second, she confronts the hero in the story, Qasim, whom she blames for all the bad luck of the day, at the end you have a sizzling first encounter that was outrageous as it was funny.

This story is a must to be read at once. Grab your book, go away, and prepare to enjoy a romantic story, with an excellent plot, and the appereance of your favorite O'Conells.

This one includes everything: handsome man, passionate heroine, well written dialogues, fights, laughs, love, passion... i could go on forever. Just take the pleasure to read it.

Unforgettable
By Sophie Asher
Because I hated it. No, that's not true. I liked the hero a lot, the concept was interesting, but the heroine was awful. Imagine the rudest, most ethno-centric, wilfully ignorant cultural snob you can - and you know this chick. Her arrogant refusal to respect the traditions of the country where she was working made her completely unappealing & dislikable. And the chip on her shoulder was so heavy I could hardly lift my kindle.

Two stars instead of one only because of the hero & concept. Definitely not recommended.

Romance Junkies says...
By Sarah W
Sarah at Romance Junkies says: "Sandra Marton has another hit with THE SHEIKH'S CONVENIENT BRIDE. Each story in the O'Connell saga gets better and better and Megan and Qasim's love story is no different. The sparks leap off the page when these two characters are together and it is obvious that they feel more than desire for each other, though they are wary of admitting it. This is a powerful story that examines a woman's role in a country that believes women should be submissive, and though this isn't the main focus of the story by any means, it definitely is examined through Megan. Nevertheless, it is love that makes this story so great, and THE SHEIKH'S CONVENIENT BRIDE is a truly remarkable love story."
